RAIN< RAIN< RAIN

Went to bed Friday night wondering what the weather would be for the pull on Saturday, woke up late to find it misty and foggy. The Plylers were to call by 8 if the pull was cancelled, they hadn't, so Brent and I loaded up the Allis and headed to Mt.Pleasant/Rockwell, NC. The track looked promising but the tractors were not there! We had a few rock crawlers set up in the parking area and a few pulling trucks were there. I think when all was said and done we had 10 tractors and 15 or 20 trucks to pull. We even let the crawlers pull, they loved it! I did pretty well, two first places one 249+ and a 247+ pull. One of out truck pullers brought out his new "PRO" truck It will be awsome when he gets it dialed in! We got some good photos posted on flickr.com/brentmccphotography under "people".

Next pull is in Pageland this coming Saturday hope to see a big crowd there! Till next time...Happy Hookin

A little concerned!

WOW Ain't pullin fun! We had a really good pull last weekend. Not a whole lot of tractors but its always good to have friends get together and do what they enjoy. We had a bit of a sad note, long tiime puller and friend Joe Dake lost his battle with cancer. His great friend, Raeford Williams made the first honorary pull for him, of course it was a full pull! A tradition I hope we continue.

I noticed a popping sound in the rear of my old Allis, been investigating this week but have not found the problem. I plan to finish the season, only a few more pulls, and pull the rear end covers and see what is going on.

It was good to see the folks from Edmunds at the pull. Their son pulled his tractor very well for his age.

We are going to pull in Mt. Pleasent NC next week, should be a good one! Hope to see a bunch up there.

If you haven't visited our web site please do so at www.sandhillantiquetractorpullersassociation.com, or you can google SATPA and get there as well. Hope all is well with everyone, see you next time...
